* Sankarea *

Sankarea tells the story of a young man named Furuya Chihiro obsessed with zombies. He likes all the horror movies about zombies and all the knick knacks that smells zombie. In his mind there is no more excitement than Zombie. To the extent that he wants to have a girlfriend with a zombie. A zombie maniac. But his hopes were answered after miraculously met a beautiful woman who comes from a wealthy family named Sanka Rea.

Furuya Chihiro

Rea is the son of a sweet, beautiful, obedient to parents, friendly, and strive always seemed cheerful despite having family problems so complicated. Rea came from a very wealthy family restrained by his father. It also has a stepmother who always think of it as a bully of the family. that's why he always felt frustrated. Sometimes he intends to commit suicide. And sometimes he always did every night screaming like crazy at a well from an old building
quietly without being noticed by others. But accidental incident seen by Furuya Chihiro who happened to be there. And that's where the story when they both started.

Sanka Rea

But happiness came to an end when his father found out about the existence of the present Furuya Chihiro into the hearts Rea. The father caught Rea went out of the house quietly and start an argument between father and son for the first time. Accidentally, the fight led to Rea fall into the abyss that resulted stomach torn by sharp twigs and branches Rea died. Suddenly Rea back up alive and then realizes that she has become a zombie witnessed by Furuya and his father.

Wanko Saoji

After that Furuya hide the girl into his room. The hidden secrets finally caught. Furuya then allow the Rea family stay in place after knowing the condition of their living situation happened to Rea. But Furuya not say that Rea is a zombie. Who know the secret just Furuya, Wanko, and Rea himself. Wanko was a childhood friend of Furuya  who has been regarded as brothers / cousins ​​themselves by Furuya and his family. He also likes Furuya and Rea regard as rivals. Even so he still compete in a healthy love and willing to come to help and provide support for Rea.
