         A boy named Gon Freecs, who joined the Hunter exam. He also has a goal to find her father. If someone wins in the Hunter exam, he could get a license card with a card called Hunter's license, that means the same as having a lot of money to countless price. But it is also comparable to that risked Hunter exam. 

         During the exam, Gon makes a new friend named Leorio, Kurapika, until she found her best friend is named Killua. After graduating from Hunter exam, they all split up to grab it and run their own goals and meet their new teachers each. Then Gon and Killua find clues to find the name Ging Gon's father, found in a virtual game that fitted with the power of 'Nen'. If it fails in the game the game (game over), then the people who play the game will die. Before entering into the game, Killua and Gon to retrain their body strength to be more confident to be a winner.

Gon Freecs

Gon raised since infancy by her aunt called Mito. He did not know what the face of his father and did not know either where his father was now, he only knows through a photograph. Therefore, he insisted to seek and find his father by following the Hunter exam. Gon could still fairly be said to have an innocently heart and spirit but always trying. The weapon in the form of a unique fishing hook is strong and not easily broken. Nen he have the power of nature to destroy.

 

Killua Zaoldyeck

Killua from Zaoldyeck which is a descendant of the family clan assassin. Killua trained since childhood to become a professional killer. Actually, at the age of twelve years stepped on, he had appointed his father and his family to become the heir and master the business of trading for Zaoldyeck family. But he rebelled and ran away from home. Hunter Killua then take the exam in order to dispel the boredom, who then met with Gon and good friends with him. Strength 'Nen' Killua is owned electricity. She can suck and drain power from his body to the opponent's body.

Kurapika

He was a beautiful man. Kurapika is a clan Kuruta the last. Kuruta clan is a clan that is unique, that their eyes can turn red when they're angry. That's why the whole clan Kuruta slaughtered just for the sake of all-out to get those beautiful red eyes by a group dubbed the spider named Gen Eriodan. Kurapika, following the Hunter exam to improve his strength and aims for revenge against a group of spiders that had slaughtered his own clan and reclaim the eyes belong to any clan that has been stolen. Strength 'Nen' belongs Kurapika is shaping up to be five chains. The strength of the chain will be very strong if Kurapika give an oath containing the "will destroy all members of Gen Eriodan and take the red eye Kuruta their clan." And if Kurapika attacking other people besides the spider-Gen Eriodan, then 'Nen' chains that have been installed in the heart of the contract to binding oath Kurapika will move to kill him. 

Leorio

Leorio friends with Gon as the Hunter exam. He said if the aim to follow the Hunter exam is to get money. But really he wanted to become a doctor after the late close friend that he could not help because of illness. And it has become a nightmare. He was the only person who really does care about Kurapika exceeds other friends.

Despite having the appearance of the body like a child. Actually she has an old age. She does not like to look like an old man because he memngubah himself into a young girl. She was a teacher for Gon and Killua during the Greed Island.
